Jason Greenblatt, US President Donald Trump’s former envoy to the Middle East, and Saul Singer, co-author of the bestselling book “Start-up Nation: The Story of Israel’s Economic Miracle,” (named by NoCamels among 17 Israelis who shaped the decade, along with OurCrowd CEO Jon Medved), are among the keynote speakers at the upcoming OurCrowd Global Investor Summit. The event is held every year by Israel’s most active venture investor and crowdfunding platform, OurCrowd.

OurCrowd announced its programming for the summit to be held on February 13, 2020, in Jerusalem under the theme “Doing The Impossible.” The agenda will explore the “breathtaking phenomenon of startup technologies bringing unexpected solutions to old problems, overturning industries, and changing people’s lives,” the company said.

OurCrowd says it expects some 20,000 guests at the upcoming event.

This will be Greenblatt’s first public appearance in Israel since US President Donald Trump’s administration unveiled its peace plan with the intention of resolving the Israeli-Palestinian conflict at the White House in January.

“Thousands of attendees at the OurCrowd Global Investor Summit will hear world-class speakers and cutting-edge content,” said OurCrowd CEO Jon Medved. “Over 200 different speakers will address three plenary sessions, alongside 33 concurrent breakout sessions, as well as over 100 interactive technology booths to explore. The biggest problem attendees will have is how to choose what to attend and what to miss. But, there’s always next year!”

The big event will include a full day of keynote speeches, investor spotlights, and specialist panels, featuring some of the world’s leading business executives, investors and entrepreneurs.

Additional keynote speakers at the conference will include Ronald Kruszewski, chairman and CEO of US investment bank Stifel Financial Corporation, Ruth Arnon, an immunology researcher who is also the former president of the Israel Academy of Sciences, Mitch Garber, a chairman and investor of Cirque du Soleil, Jun Sawada, president and CEO of NTT Holdings, Dave Mosley, CEO of Seagate Technology, Aharon Aharon, CEO of Israel Innovation Authority, Michael Eisenberg, co-founder and equal partner of Israeli VC Aleph, Isaac Herzog, chairman of Jewish Agency for Israel, Marta Plana, board member of FC Barcelona, Jim Adler, managing director of Toyota AI Ventures, Michael Sutherland, chief transformation officer of Real Madrid CF, and Keren Elazari, cybersecurity security analyst, author, and researcher, and Ferid Murad, Nobel laureate in medicine.

Investors, entrepreneurs, corporate executives, and venture capitalists have registered from more than 180 countries for the OurCrowd Summit.
